About color blindness:
Full or partial color blindness or Daltonism is not perceiving colors completely. Less good colors can arise, is more common than true color blindness in which one of the three has failed completely for color perception. Usually, color blindness shows up when one or more of the three types of cones, which are one of two types of light-sensitive cells in the retina, in addition to rods, do not work properly or at all. Color blindness is usually a hereditary condition and the most common form of color blindness is gender-linked. There are also acquired forms, usually as a result of intoxications such as through the use of certain drugs.
